Astha Suri founded Naso in 2020, drawing on her family's attar business in North India, which goes back four generations. The house blends attars and perfumes from herbs, spices and flower oils distilled at the family's own distilleries, with an Ayurveda-inspired, wellness angle. Its first own shop opened in Hazratganj, Lucknow.

A fourth-generation attar family, in modern bottles
Naso Profumi was launched in January 2020 by Astha Suri, then 24, according to The Global Indian and The Nod Mag. Her family has distilled attars in North India for four generations. The Nod Mag traces the family's trade to her great-grandfather, Sri Saligram Suri, and her grandfather, Rajneesh Suri.
Naso says its ingredients are grown and distilled in-house at its distilleries in North India. It treats attar as a natural base and calls its approach functional perfumery: each blend lists the mood it is meant to help with, such as easing stress or lifting energy. The range runs from eaux de parfum to attars, candles and diffuser oils.
Its own shop is the Naso Lucknow Store, Shop 15-B at Le Press, Mall 29, on Naval Kishore Road in Hazratganj, Lucknow, which The Nod Mag reported as its first bricks-and-mortar store. In New Delhi its perfumes are stocked at Evoluzione in The Kila, near the Qutab Minar in Mehrauli. A 50 ml Tabac costs Rs 5,500 at full price. Try Mint Infused in Rose & Lemon first: it rests on a natural red rose attar, the clearest link to the family's distilling.
